Glass (borosilicate) is used as corrosion-resistant pipe and fittings for drain, waste, and vent service and is intended for chemical resistant service above and below grade under gravity flow or vacuum conditions. Pipe and common fittings are available in sizes from 1/2- to 12 inch diameter, with pipe lengths available in numerous lengths to reduce or eliminate field cuts. Pipe and fittings have beaded ends for use with special couplings.

Glass pipe systems can be used wherever liquid chemicals are transported, such as distillation and laboratory equipment, the biological, chemical, pharmaceutical, and pesticide industries.
