Joining Method Quick connect

Quick connect fittings are manufactured for specific applications and involve some mechanism that allows the installer to simply slide the pipe or tubing into a connector, and the connection is complete.  In some cases, snap retainers or screws are used to ensure the connection holds fast. In other cases, a gripping technology is used, in which the connector holds tight to the pipe or tubing to prevent it from coming out. An integral and internal O-ring is used to seal the connection.
